This cold front has me more than ready to jump into a pair of tall boots, toss on a scarf and cuddle up in my favorite winter sweaters. Sure, living in Florida definitely has its advantages but sometimes a year-round summer can get, well, hot. I am grateful I live up more North in Gainesville, where we occasionally do experience some chilly weeks. Like this one. This weather has me totally inspired to start incorporating my winter wardrobe into my everyday use. Living in Florida doesn’t mean you can’t still dress for fall ;).

I found this gem of inspiration on Pintrest and fell in love. I adore the color red (flattering on almost every skin tone!)  and you can never go wrong with a pair of dark blue jeans. The tall boots and leopard scarf really make this combo special. Try seeing if you can put together a similar look with any pieces you might already have.

For warmer days, pair a chunky sweater with cut-off jean shorts and flats. The contrasting combo will keep you warm in chilly classrooms, but not too hot outside.
